What is an Escape Game?

Live Escape Games, Room Escape Games, Exit the Room, Escape the Room, Exit Games or Real Escape Games, they all have one thing in common – they are a game that combines puzzles, adventure and lots of fun. The well-known parlor game is no longer an insider tip.

Originally the first escape game was a computer game. The plot is quite simple: waking up in a strange room, there is only one thought – where is the way out? Doors and windows are blocked. Only with the help of objects that are hidden in the room an escape is possible.
A short time later, in 2007, Japan opened the first Live Exit Room game for small groups. Since then, leisure enjoyment has spread rapidly all over the world.

What are the AdventureRooms?

AdventureRooms offers a Real-Life-Escape-Game for groups. In the standard game a team has to escape from a locked room within 60 minutes. You can find AdventureRooms in 18 countries all over the world. We’re offering a unforgettable event!

What is a Duell?

Two teams with 4-6 people are playing against each other: Team A is starting already in Phase 3. The have to escape before Team B, which is starting in Phase 1, catch them. The roles will be switched after 30 minuts. We offer the duel in our game “Friendship”.

For which occasions ist AdventureRooms suitable?

You can visit us for your birthday or your stag party, companies can hold a teambuilding-event, teachers can do a game with their students, families and groups of friends can have an exciting adventure and have a lot of fun together. You can offer your visitors an unforgettable adventure.

What ages is AdventureRooms suitable for?

You have to be at least 18 years to make a booking. Teenagers and children unders 18 years can only play in the company of an adult. The recommended age for our games is between 12 and 99. The most successful teams are the ones with heterogeneous ages! The enthusiasm and lust for adventure of the youth combined with the knowledge of the older is the perfect mixture. Or was it the other way round?

How long does it take?

Normal games take 60 minutes. Adding to this we need about 15 minutes for the instruction and debriefing. You’re set free no later than 1:30 h. A duel with two teams consists of two 30 minutes half times, a break of 15 minutes between them and a briefing about 15 min. According to this you can calculate with 1:45 h for a duel.

Which dates are free?

Please have a look at our booking page to find free slots. Even if you’re planning an event for your company or a bigger private party where you need more than one room please use the booking calender.

We can’t answer E-Mails concerning reservations.

Can I come over spontaneously?

We’re sorry, but no. You have to make an online reservation, because we have to make some preparations for each game. You can only enter our place if you tell us your team-name at the bell. We also recommend to buy the voucher only, because we’re not on site all day.

When shall we arrive?

In the short break between two groups we have to clean up the rooms and prepare them for the next players so it’s not helpful if you arrive much earlier. We appreciate it if you arrive 5 minutes before the booked time. Please don’t be late. If necessary we have to shorten your gaming time to ensure that the next group can start in time.

How much is it?

You can find the prices on our website. The prices are apiece. You have to pay a deposit of € 20,00. We need to receive the payment in the next 4 working days (international banktransfer in the next 5 woorking days). You’ll receive our bank account with the confirmation e-mail. On site you have to pay only the remaining amount of € 40,00 in cash. If your booking takes place in the next 4 days you have to pay the full amount in cash.

Why do I have to pay a deposit?

We are planning our work schedules depending on incoming bookings. With the deposit we just want to make sure that there are no fake bookings, so that we can keep our prices low.

Can I book from abroad?

At the moment our booking system allows orders from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Please enter the postal code with five digits (01234 instead of 1234). Visitors from other countries can use their visitor address in Dresden.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Cancellation of your booking is free of charge until 48 hours before your reservation.

The deposit is non-refundable.

When can I pick up my voucher?

Please call before pickup and make sure that there is an employee available.

Are there parking lots?

We do not have a customer parking space. We recommend the public transport. To us the lines 3,6,7,8, and 11. The station Dresden Neustadt is also only a few minutes walk away.
